Best Mexican in Chapel Hill

We love it here. Excellent food!. We go to the one on Franklin Street most of the time -- but we go to the one on Rosemary when we want to eat outside. Very friendly to kids.

Good food and fast service at a great price - Perfect for lunch!

This mexican restaurant is a regular stop for my colleagues and I during our lunch hour. They have great lunch specials starting at $4.50 every weekday, and their quick service makes getting in and out easy. The food is tasty and served in a casual atmosphere. Probably not the best choice for a fancy dinner, but a great place for business lunches or a quick bite anytime.

THIS RESTAURANT is very dirty no wonder is always empty. The food smells like feet I didn't touch it, I told the server if I could get it to go, so I gave it to my dog. EL RODEO AND MONTERREY ARE MUCH BETTER this is my last time i try another mexican restaurant.

The service their was amazing, the food was the best food I have ever tasted I highly recommend going. My wife is very picky when it comes to restaurants but she enjoyed it so I highly recommend it. Their margaritas are very good, so overall great.

mexican food in a not so mexican atmosphere

Los Potrillos is one of the few Mexican places in Chapel Hill that my mother will go to. She's a very picky eater, and if she likes it, then you will too. The food is pretty good, but a little overpriced in my opinion. The restaurant used to be an old house, which is evident from the outside. The wait staff is friendly, and it's a good place to go with the family.
